Basic stay with some issues
Checked in and felt a bit uncomfortable with all the hustle around. Rooms are kinda scruffy and need a lotta love—cracked walls and old decor. Bathroom was clean tho, and I appreciated hot water. Breakfast was decent! No probs with the staff, they were nice. WiFi was a bummer too. Just not the cozy vibe I expected.

More heating options in public areas would help.

Had a fantastic time with my friends! We enjoyed some geology fun days and even squeezed in a round of golf at a nearby course. The atmosphere was great, ideal for relaxation after our activities. The staff were mostly friendly, and our room was tidy.
We did face an issue with one of the male receptionists who was a bit abrupt during check-in, which was a little off-putting. But overall, it didn't ruin our stay.

I really enjoyed my time here as it was close to Millisons Wood Local Nature Reserve where I took lovely walks surrounded by nature. The historic Lady Godiva Statue was only a short stroll away, making it easy to explore the city on foot. As a single traveler, I appreciated the spaciousness of my room despite the hotel's dated feel and saw the potential for a lovely stay in a better-maintained environment.
